Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Pathologist Assistant to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role involves assisting pathologists in the gross examination, dissection, and processing of surgical specimens, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in diagnostic procedures. This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens following established protocols.
• Assist with autopsy procedures and forensic pathology as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of specimens.
• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Maintain compliance with quality control, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program required.
• ASCP certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) required.
• Experience in surgical pathology preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
