Medical Surgical Registered Nurse – Columbus, OH

- Employment Type: Full-time temporary assignment
- License/Certs: Valid RN license, BLS certification; Telemetry experience preferred
- Experience: At least 1 year in Medical-Surgical nursing; ICU, telemetry experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: $59.18 per hour

- WMC Agency Permit: $224.80/month, includes 24/7 access at Wexner Medical Center Garage, or $748.58 per 100-day permit
- WB Permit (Budget Option): $16.35/month, with 24/7 access to West Campus surface lots and shuttle service
- CXS Permit: $32.83/month, with 24/7 access and shuttle service
What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to patient needs effectively
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Float between units as needed within the organization, providing flexible coverage
- Document care and patient information accurately using hospital EPIC electronic health records
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with hospital policies
- Support patients during weekends and holiday shifts
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio RN license and BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Telemetry experience strongly preferred
- Skills in IV initiation and EPIC documentation required
- Ability to work night shifts and support float duties
