A hospital in Idaho is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician for an ongoing locum tenens call coverage opportunity. This inpatient-only assignment offers beeper call coverage with a collaborative care team, support for high-risk obstetric patients, and the flexibility for providers to cover ongoing call needs.

Assignment Details

• Setting: Inpatient


• Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing


• Contract Length: Ongoing


• Schedule: Call-only coverage


• Call: Beeper call with a 30-minute response time


• Temporary Privileges: Available

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient OB/GYN call coverage


• Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies


• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries


• Interpret fetal heart monitoring (NST, CST, FSE)


• Perform and interpret Level I and Level II obstetric ultrasounds


• Perform amniocentesis and manage complex obstetric cases, including breech presentations, multiple gestations, abruptions, and VBACs


• Repair third- and fourth-degree lacerations


• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists and the multidisciplinary obstetric team

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology


• Fellowship preferred


• Active Idaho medical license or IMLC


• Comfortable managing both routine and high-risk obstetric cases


• Epic EMR experience preferred
