Details:
•  Duration: November – ongoing
•  Schedule: Flexible 5 shifts/month minimum
•  Shift: 9 or 12 hour shifts, mostly 7a-7p or 7p-7a
•  Scope: Emergency Medicine for cancel treatment related conditions – most procedures are intubations
•  Duties: on-site evaluation, management, and treatment of adult patients requiring urgent medical attention, determining appropriate dispositions (discharge, observation, or admission), initiating admissions with appropriate orders and communication when necessary, rapid response both in the clinic (that is in the hospital), on the floor and in the ETC
•  Volume: 8-10 PPD
•  EMR: EPIC
•  Hospital: 200 beds
•  Group: CCM and Hospitalist back up, subspecialty support
•  Credentialing: 30-60 days
•  Require: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine – ABEM, Active CA License and DEA, clean NPDB, 2+ years’ experience in EM post training
