What You’ll Do
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
- Document treatment activities accurately in health records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health evaluations
- Collaborate with facility staff to support inmate mental health needs
- Support ongoing mental health care and crisis response in a correctional setting
What You Need
- Valid licensure in mental health therapy (state-specific)
- Prior experience in mental health assessment, counseling, or crisis intervention
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a correctional environment
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
