What You'll Do
- Evaluate and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs.
- Administer manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and evaluate outcomes to optimize recovery.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and recovery processes.
- Document all treatments and progress accurately in electronic health records in compliance with regulations.
- Support supervision of rehab aides, students, or assistants as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and facility trainings to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to all applicable professional standards, practice acts, and ethical guidelines.
What You Need
Required:
- Valid physical therapy license in Missouri or applicable state
- 1+ year of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in rehab or wound care
- Strong communication and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Experience in a hospital or facility-based rehab environment
- Certification in wound care or specialized therapy modalities
