What You’ll Do:
- Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practices under supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and device support
- Assess patient progress and communicate adjustments to treatment plans
- Document all treatments and patient responses in electronic health records
- Collaborate with team members about patient progress and discharge planning
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about treatment plans and progress
- Support supervision and mentoring of students as applicable
- Participate in meetings, in-services, and ongoing training sessions
- Adhere to professional standards and state licensure requirements
What You Need:
- Valid and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of experience, preferably in long-term care settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care
