What You’ll Do

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop treatment plans for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

  • Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices

  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed

  • Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care

  • Complete all required documentation and discharge summaries in electronic records

  • Support supervision of CFYs or student therapists when applicable

  • Adhere to ASHA and state practice standards, code of conduct, and ethics


What You Need

Required:


  • Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts

  • ASHA certification (or eligibility)

  • Strong clinical skills in adult rehabilitation

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills



Preferred:


  • Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings

  • Bilingual skills are a plus

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
