What You’ll Do:
- Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practices under supervision
- Provide skilled, rehabilitative, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders
- Administer procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and support device usage
- Assess patient progress and collaborate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments
- Document all care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Support patient, family, and caregiver counseling regarding physical health and treatment plans
- Support and supervise students under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Ensure compliance with APTA and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics
What You Need:
- Valid and active Massachusetts PTA license
- 1+ years of clinical experience as a PTA preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
