Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Coverage on specific dates, shift times vary 0600-1830, 0630-1900
• Job Setting: Inpatient, ICU and stepdown unit
• Types of Cases: Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Procedures: Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) Valve repair and replacement (aortic, mitral, tricuspid) Ascending aortic surgery (including emergent dissections) Left atrial appendage exclusion Maze procedures Redo sternotomies Mechanical circulatory support procedures (Impella, ECMO cannulation, IABP exposure) Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) Sternotomy opening and closure Chest tube and temporary pacing wire placement 
• Credentialing: 90 days, temporary privileges available

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified
• Procedure logs required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Licensure: Active Missouri license required, will accept IMLC with LOQ in hand
