Overview

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in New York. This assignment includes weekday clinical coverage with weekday and weekend call opportunities in an acute care hospital setting. Ongoing coverage is anticipated for approximately six months.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM


• Weekday Call: 3:00 PM–7:00 AM as scheduled


• Weekend Call: Friday through Monday as scheduled


• Contract Length: Approximately 6 months with ongoing coverage as needed


• Setting: Acute care hospital


• Patient Volume: Approximately 10–15 patients per day


• Patient Population: Adult and OB


• EMR: Epic


• Emergency Privileges: Available

Clinical Responsibilities

• General anesthesia


• OB anesthesia


• Epidural placement and management


• Surgical anesthesia coverage


• CRNA supervision as needed

Requirements

• Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible considered


• Active New York medical license required


• BLS


• ACLS


• PALS


• AHA or RQI certifications accepted


• Epic experience required


• Must be comfortable practicing in a rural hospital environment


• Residents and fellows cannot be considered
