What You’ll Do
- Provide skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 22-bed PCU unit
- Assist with common procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
- Monitor patient health status, administer medications, and coordinate care plans
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC and Pyxis systems
- Float within OSU to support unit needs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols during night shifts
What You Need
Required:
- Ohio RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent PCU experience
- Ability to work night shift (19:00 – 07:30) and every other/third weekend
Preferred:
- Experience with adult/geriatric patient populations
- Prior charge RN experience
- Teaching hospital experience
- Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems
