Registered Nurse - ER (Emergency Department) | Shreveport, LA | 12H Night Shifts

- Required Licenses/Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, CPI or MOAB
- Experience: 2+ years of recent ER experience in acute care settings
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay Rate: $50.25/hour

What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations, including pediatric to geriatric
- Manage a patient load of approximately 85-95 visits daily
- Perform IV starts, continuous patient monitoring, and initiate appropriate care based on severity
- Support unit operations, including collaboration with charge nurses and hospitalists
- Utilize EMR system (Meditech Expanse) for documentation
- Handle multiple system tasks simultaneously, including MedSurg RN competencies (EKG, medication, and charting)
- Adapt to the fast-paced ED environment with a focus on patient safety and care efficiency
What You Need:
- Valid Louisiana RN license or compact license
- 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience in an acute care setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam before start
- Excellent multitasking and clinical skills, with comfort in managing admitted and hall patients
