What You’ll Do
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through reviews of available records and clinical interviews with inmates
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on client needs and functioning levels
- Document treatment activities and evaluations accurately in healthcare records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques
- Provide crisis interventions and mental health counseling to address immediate needs
- Collaborate with facility staff to ensure appropriate mental health support for inmates
What You Need
Required:
- Valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license
- Ability to pass facility clearance with social security card and driver’s license
- Open availability as per CoreCivic scheduling policy
Preferred:
- Previous experience in mental health or correctional settings
- Strong communication and crisis management skills
