Respiratory Therapy - RRT (12H Nights) – Shreveport, LA
Looking for experienced Respiratory Therapists to join a leading facility in Shreveport, LA for a rewarding temporary assignment. What You’ll Do:
- Provide advanced respiratory care to critically ill patients across multiple campuses
- Support high-risk deliveries and NICU/PICU patients, including neonatal intubation and ventilator management
- Administer inhaled medications, including nitric oxide
- Manage airway and ventilator systems, perform ABG analysis, and respond to emergency codes
- Operate equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, Vapotherm, NICU oscillators, and more
- Collaborate with department leadership and support team members in delivering quality patient care
- Float between four different campuses, providing flexible staffing coverage
What You Need:
- Valid LA State Licensure
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT accepted if NBRC credentialed)
- BLS and NRP certifications (ACLS and PALS preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including high-risk delivery and NICU/PICU support
- Comfort with neonatal intubation, airway management, and ventilator support
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to float across campuses, work on call shifts, and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment
