Hem Onc to join a busy Hospital employed group with 2 Hem Onc’s on staff.

Current staffing: 2 physicians - center could support 4 Hem Oncs
Inpatient and outpatient practice
Clinic hours are M-F, 8-4:30 and it is located inside of the hospital in the Cancer Center
12-18 patients / day
Coverage shared equally at 1:4
No APP's in the center
Onsite radiation therapy and infusion center with Radiation Oncologists available for consultation
Outpatient chemotherapy administration
Multi-disciplinary tumor board and cancer registry
30-40 % solid tumors and malignant hematology and 60 % benign hematology
Refer out acute leukemias, complex sarcomas
Precept DO med school students
Hospital employed
EMR: EPIC

RVU threshold 7,000 at 90 / RVU
Hem Oncs produce over ~11k RVU's each
