• Coverage: Ongoing weekly blocks


• Schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM


• Weekend Coverage: Required


• Setting: Inpatient and Emergency


• Patient Population: Adults, 18+


• EMR: Cerner


• Temporary/Emergency Privileges: Available


• Partial coverage may be considered

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Gastroenterology coverage


• Respond to GI consultations and emergencies while on call


• Perform general GI procedures


• ERCP experience preferred but not required


• Provide onsite care when called back during assigned coverage

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology


• GI Fellowship required


• Active California medical license required


• California DEA


• ACLS


• ERCP experience preferred


• Recent malpractice concerns or behavioral issues may affect consideration
