Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician – Weekday Schedule

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician for weekday coverage in Virginia. This opportunity offers a consistent daytime schedule with the option to participate in resident precepting.

Assignment Details

• Monday-Friday coverage


• 8:00 AM-5:00 PM


• No overtime


• Patient volume varies by shift


• Estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days


• Resident precepting opportunities available

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide direct hospice and palliative medicine care


• Evaluate and manage patients with complex symptom and care needs


• Collaborate with the clinical team to support patient-centered care


• Assist with resident precepting if interested and comfortable doing so

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible


• Active Virginia medical license


• BLS required


• Hospice and Palliative Medicine experience


• Comfortable providing weekday clinical coverage


• Interest in resident education and precepting welcomed but not required
