Our client in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Medical Oncologist for a 195-day assignment beginning Nov 2, 2026. This role involves managing a diverse caseload of oncology and hematology patients, including new consults and follow-ups, with shifts from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Inpatient rounding may be required for comprehensive patient care.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a mixed caseload of oncology and hematology patients, including new consults and follow-ups.
  • Conduct inpatient rounding as required.
  • Oversee cases involving breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, pancreatic, gynecologic, head & neck, melanoma, lymphoma, leukemias, multiple myeloma, MDS, and benign hematology.
  • Order and manage chemotherapy and its toxicities (IV/oral).
  • Provide oversight for immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy.
  • Perform bone marrow biopsies/aspirations.
  • Manage central lines (Port-a-Cath, PICC).
  • Manage oncologic emergencies.
  • Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case reviews.
  • Administer growth factor support and blood transfusions.
