Description

We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist for a 21-day assignment in Wisconsin, starting Nov 1, 2026. This role involves conducting new patient consults, follow-ups, and thorough reviews of labs and imaging. The schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, focusing on a broad range of radiation therapy procedures including IMRT, SBRT, and CT simulation.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct new patient consults.
  • Perform patient follow-ups and assess ongoing treatment.
  • Conduct OTVs (on-treatment visits).
  • Review laboratory results and imaging studies.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including breast, prostate, CNS, head & neck, lung, GI/GU, and skin cancers.
  • Address palliative and emergent cases such as tumor bleeds, spinal cord compression, brain metastases, and SVC syndrome.
  • Perform radiosurgical contouring for procedures like brain metastases.
  • Engage in adaptive replanning decision-making.
  • Utilize advanced techniques including IMRT (Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy), VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy), and IGRT (Image-Guided Radiation Therapy).
  • Administer SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy) and Electron Beam Therapy.
  • Execute CT planning and 3D conformal planning.
  • Conduct CT simulation for treatment.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification: Required in Radiation Oncology.
  • EMR Systems: Aria and Epic.
  • Work Setting: Hospital-based.
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 10-15 Linac patients per day.
