JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Indiana Medical License, Indiana Controlled Substance Registration, and DEA with Indiana Address Required
• Board: Board Certified ABEM/AOBEM or Current ABMS-Recognized Specialty with Qualifying Emergency Medicine Experience
• DEA: Active DEA Required
• Certifications: BLS or CPR Certification Required
• Experience: New EM Residency Graduates Within the Past 12 Months Accepted; Internal Medicine Physicians Must Have Five Years of Continuous Full-Time Experience in a High-Volume Emergency Department (>30,000 Annual Visits)
• Other Qualifications: Documentation of Case Logs for the Past Two Years; CME Attestation Required During Application Process
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluate, Diagnose, and Treat Emergency Department Patients
• Manage Acute and Emergent Medical Conditions
• Perform Emergency Medicine Procedures Including Moderate Sedation
• Collaborate with APCs and Specialty Consultants
• Complete Accurate and Timely Medical Documentation
• Deliver High-Quality Patient Care in a Collaborative Team Environment
