What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality ICU patient care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and real-time data, including Epic systems
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations
What You Need
- Valid RN license for Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications; CCRN preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
About the Assignment
This ICU assignment offers an exciting opportunity to work in a well-respected healthcare setting in New Orleans, LA. The unit is dedicated to delivering exceptional critical care with a patient ratio of 1:2 and includes weekend and holiday shifts. Flexibility to float to other ICUs such as MICU, Neuro, TICU, or Burn units is required, and the shift schedule is structured with a strict maximum of 5 days RTO. Scrubs are Navy blue.
