Our client in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Physician for a 24-day assignment starting Sep 14, 2026. This part-time role involves one day per week, from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on initial evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy for a diverse outpatient caseload of children and adolescents.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage an average of 5-10 patient visits per day.
• Conduct initial evaluations, dedicating an hour for each.
• Provide 20-30 minute follow-up appointments.
• Perform comprehensive medication management and psychotherapy.
• Initiate, titrate, and taper psychotropic medications as clinically indicated.
• Address a broad spectrum of outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric cases, including psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse/dual diagnosis, personality disorders, suicidal/homicidal ideation, trauma related disorders, cognitive impairment, developmental disorders, and eating disorders.
