What You’ll Do
- Care for adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and hematology diagnoses
- Monitor patients using telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
- Administer blood products, IV therapy, and manage central and peripheral lines
- Provide patient fall and infection prevention care
- Participate in rapid response teams and emergency interventions
- Use EPIC for computerized charting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
What You Need
- Valid Ohio RN license or applicable state license
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience, with at least 1 year in PCU
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and IV therapy
- BLS and ACLS certifications; ONS Chemo and NIHSS are preferred
- Strong assessment and patient management skills
- Ability to adapt to variable shift schedules based on unit needs
