What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy surgical oncology unit
- Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and other medications
- Monitor for oncologic emergencies and cytokine release syndromes
- Manage insulin and heparin drips per protocol
- Follow infection prevention protocols and patient fall precautions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document care effectively using Epic electronic health records
What You Need
- Valid Ohio RN license or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (required); ONS Chemo preferred
- At least 2 years of acute care nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year in PCU
- Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to float within scope of practice
