JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: BC in ACNP or AGACNP (Adult Gerontology-Acute Care)
- Licenses: Active AR NP License, DEA with AR address
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
- Experience: 2 years recent experience in specialty; hospitalist experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Graduate of accredited NP program; case logs past 2 years required; immunizations: Flu, Hep B, TB, Covid
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide hospital medicine services during day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) in collaboration with a team of 4 physicians and 1 NP/PA.
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and daily rounds for hospital inpatients.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment plans for hospitalized patients.
- Coordinate care with consulting physicians, nursing staff, and tele-physician support during night shifts as needed.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in Epic EMR.
