Family Medicine Physician

Location: Connecticut

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Openings: 1

Position Overview

Outpatient family medicine coverage in a clinic setting

Provide chronic disease follow ups, acute care visits, transition of care management, annual wellness visits, well child visits, and preventive exams

In basket cross coverage is required

Access to nearby specialty support in the local system

Procedures

Procedures may include joint injections, IUD insertion, implantable contraception, incision and drainage of abscess, and skin biopsies for appropriately trained providers

Prenatal care is optional for providers with appropriate training and documentation

Required Qualifications

Board certified Family Medicine

Active, unrestricted Connecticut license

Epic experience is required

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify
