Description
Are you a Critical Care Advanced Practitioner searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Pennsylvania might be the perfect fit for you!Opportunity Highlights- Schedule: (3) 13-hour shifts per week (7am-8pm or 7pm-8am); includes night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Start ASAP through March 31, 2027.
- Job Setting: Inpatient - Cardiac ICU (HVI CCU). Level 1 Trauma Center. 30-bed department. 8-12 patients per shift.
- Types of Cases: Critical care cardiac ICU management including VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant. Daily rounding, patient management, order entry, admissions, post-operative management, and procedures (arterial lines, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheter, IABP removal). Working under the guidance of an Intensivist.
- EMR System: Cerner
- Call: No Call
- Credentialing: Estimated 60-90 days. Temporary privileges not available. Malpractice insurance provided by vendor.
Minimum Requirements- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required; minimum certification level: Certified. Experience in critical care cardiac ICU required.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
- Licensure: Must be licensed in Pennsylvania only. Will consider IMLC
