What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department for diverse patient populations
- Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions using the nursing process
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize patient needs and coordinate care
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety standards, and legal regulations
- Assist in managing patient flow and resource utilization within the emergency setting
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of emergency/nursing experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher
- Certification in clinical specialty areas
