What You’ll Do
- Provide expert neonatal nursing care following best practices and hospital protocols
- Assess and monitor neonatal patient needs, responding promptly to changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate families on neonatal care and support them through treatment processes
- Document clinical observations accurately and efficiently
- Delegate tasks responsibly, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and hospital regulations
What You Need
- Current Louisiana RN license
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years recent NICU experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
