What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients within the NICU.
- Assess and monitor neonatal patients' conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans.
- Educate families about neonatal care needs and procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Ensure safety and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Use clinical judgment to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate approach to patient and family interactions.
What You Need:
- Required:
- Current Louisiana RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NRP certification
- 2+ years NICU experience
- Preferred:
- Additional certifications in neonatal care or related specialties
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
