What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health records
- Assist in managing and delegating tasks within the nursing team
- Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations while maintaining patient privacy and dignity
What You Need
- Current Louisiana RN license
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent ER nursing experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
