What You’ll Do
- Deliver expert nursing care to ICU patients, adapting to diverse patient needs
- Utilize the Nursing Process for assessment, planning, and intervention
- Educate patients and families with tailored teaching strategies
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, delegating tasks appropriately
- Use data and clinical knowledge to evaluate patient outcomes and implement improvements
- Maintain safety protocols and adhere to infection control standards
- Document all care and interventions accurately in EPIC system
What You Need
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, with proficiency in EPIC
- BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications (current)
- Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
