ICU Registered Nurse – Day Shift | New Orleans, LA

What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to ICU patients across multiple specialized units including ICU, CVICU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn ICU
- Float and adapt to different ICU settings as needed in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Document care and maintain accurate patient records
- Uphold safety and compliance standards in a high-acuity setting
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or compact license
- 2+ years ICU experience
- Epic electronic health record system experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to float to multiple ICU units as required
About the Assignment
Join a leading facility in New Orleans for this ICU RN role, supporting a diverse patient population. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:2, providing a challenging yet rewarding environment for seasoned ICU nurses. This position requires flexibility to cover weekends and holidays, with no call responsibilities, and offers a strict maximum of 5 days of request-off.
