What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, efficient patient care in the PACU environment
- Conduct initial patient assessments and monitor recovery progress
- Collaborate with healthcare team for patient care planning
- Re-assess and modify care plans based on patient response
- Perform Point of Care testing as needed
- Document interventions and patient outcomes accurately
- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license (NM or Compact State)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- At least 2 years of recent RN experience; PACU experience preferred
Preferred:
- Experience working in PACU or surgical recovery units
- Strong communication and patient care skills
