MICU Registered Nurse – Columbus, OH

- Licenses/Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS; AHA Certifications only
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Medical ICU; EPIC experience required

What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality care for ICU patients with complex conditions such as multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, and COVID-19
- Manage ventilators, telemetry monitoring, and IV starts proficiently
- Monitor and adjust externalized IV pumps and other specialized equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR system
- Respond to emergencies, including post-cardiac arrest situations and DKA
- Support hyperglycemia management with continuous glucose monitoring
- Assist with special procedures like CRRT and externalized IV pump management
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio RN license or the ability to obtain one
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience, specifically in Medical ICU
- Proficiency in EPIC documentation system
- Strong skills in ventilator management, telemetry, and IV initiation
- Ability to handle multisystem critical conditions with professionalism
- Preferred: prior travel nursing experience and familiarity with specialized ICU procedures
