What You’ll Do
- Manage a caseload independently across various patient types including IPR, acute, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings
- Provide therapy for patients with spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, and complex medical cases
- Assist patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neuro diagnoses, and general orthopedic conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient progress using EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech Expanse, and WellSky
- Participate in departmental and site-specific orientation sessions
- Support patient rehabilitation goals through evidence-based therapy interventions
What You Need
- Required:
- Current Louisiana PT license
- Ability to independently manage a case load
- Experience with complex and diverse patient populations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Preferred:
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (if applicable)
- Experience working with EMR systems detailed above
