What You’ll Do
- Screen, evaluate, and develop treatment plans for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support interventions
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Conduct patient, family, and caregiver counseling regarding speech and swallowing issues
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate effective care
- Complete thorough discharge summaries and document all required information in electronic health records
- Supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists when applicable
- Adhere to ASHA and state licensure regulations, ethics, and standards
What You Need
- Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist License and ASHA Certification
- 1+ year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
