Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Rate: $151.91/hour

What You’ll Do
- Assist during surgical procedures, including wound cauterization, vessel management, suturing, and skin closure
- Position patients for surgery to maintain circulation and access
- Perform or aid in suction, drainage, and irrigation procedures
- Control bleeding and manage hemostasis
- Immobilize patients on the operating table
- Support medical-surgical floor coverage, including rounding, managing orders, and patient discharges
- Collaborate with a team working primarily with General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic patients
What You Need
- NY State License and Board Certification
- Minimum 2 years recent surgical experience
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications from AHA
- Epic experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

Join a dynamic team at a well-respected hospital with a 109-bed facility serving adults with a wide range of medical issues. The unit includes a dedicated anesthesia team, an EPIC charting system, and a patient acuity level of moderate to high. This role offers a mix of surgical assisting and medical surgical floor coverage, providing a diverse and engaging work environment.
