- 80 - 90% diagnostic radiology, 10 - 20% interventional
- Community hospital setting
- IR skills required -- vascular and non-vascular interventions
- Special procedures -- abscess drains, hysterosalpingograms, thoracentesis, paracentesis
- Imaging required -- plain films, fluoroscopy, barium GI, US, CT, MRI
- MRI coverage includes MSK, breast, neuro, and joint imaging
- Board certification required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
