Oncology Registered Nurse – Night Shift in New Orleans, LA

What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in hematology, oncology, and BMT units
- Assist with bedside CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies
- Administer medications via barcode medication administration and IV pumps
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to acute needs during night shifts
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Follow unit protocols for infection control, safety, and emergency procedures
- Support patients undergoing complex treatments including chemotherapy and transfusions
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or the ability to reciprocate
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in oncology or hematology
Preferred:
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Experience in BMT or acute leukemia units

Join a dedicated team in a 7-bed positive pressure unit designed for BMT and leukemia patients. The facility features bedside CVC placements, bone marrow biopsies, and advanced equipment including Alaris IV pumps and barcode medication systems.
