What You’ll Do
- Provide routine and complex nursing care for a diverse patient population, including respiratory, sepsis, and co-morbidities
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor treatments
- Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments and health management
- Demonstrate leadership by managing contingencies and delegating appropriately
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards of practice
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in telemetry/med-surg or related setting
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with patients with respiratory issues, sepsis, or multiple co-morbidities
- Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
