What You’ll Do
- Provide routine and complex nursing care to a diverse patient population with diagnoses including respiratory issues, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidities
- Assess patient conditions and utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols; monitor for effectiveness and side effects
- Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and clinical care accurately
- Educate patients and families, addressing emotional, psychological, and social needs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Demonstrate leadership by managing contingencies and delegating tasks appropriately
What You Need
- Current RN license in Texas or a compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience in MedSurg or Telemetry
- Ability to work independently and handle complex patient situations
