What You’ll Do
- Provide exceptional emergency nursing care to patients in the ER setting
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on severity
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Utilize the nursing process to develop and modify care plans
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
- Lead and coordinate activities within the interdisciplinary team, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare software
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical judgment skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher
- Specialty certifications in emergency nursing or related areas
