What You’ll Do
- Assist patients with stretching, strengthening, and balance exercises under supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Read and follow treatment plans provided by the Physical Therapist
- Work directly with healthcare professionals to deliver patient care
- Communicate with patients’ families to reinforce at-home techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment
- Safely transfer patients using wheelchairs or walkers
- Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling and documentation
- Teach patients techniques to improve mobility and function
What You Need
- Valid Missouri PTA license
- 1+ years of outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
- Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and adapt as needed
