What You’ll Do:
- Provide adult respiratory care to critically ill patients, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation management
- Monitor and operate respiratory equipment, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort
- Conduct diagnostic testing and analyze results
- Educate patients and families on pulmonary and cardiopulmonary health
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Participate in quality assurance and process improvement activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols
What You Need:
- Current Michigan Respiratory Therapist License or eligibility to obtain
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- 2+ years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
