What You’ll Do
- Conduct patient screenings and comprehensive evaluations of cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans following regulatory standards
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to guide interventions
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes accurately
- Offer counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient status and treatment plans
- Complete comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain detailed electronic health records
- Support supervision of occupational therapy assistants, rehab aides, or students
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and in-services
What You Need
Required:
- Oklahoma OT license
- NBCOT certification
- 1+ years of occupational therapy experience
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic procedures, documentation, and regulatory compliance
Preferred:
- Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings
- Ability to support and supervise support staff
