What You’ll Do:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and rehabilitative services for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement personalized care plans based on standardized assessments and evidence-based practices
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed in compliance with regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members regarding treatment goals and progress
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients and their support networks
- Complete discharge summaries and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Support supervision of CFYs or student Speech-Language Pathologists as appropriate
- Maintain adherence to ASHA and state licensing standards and ethical guidelines
What You Need:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist License in Missouri or eligible for licensure
- ASHA Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
