Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule:
  • Onsite Orientation: Wednesday, 11/27/2026
  • 24-hour Call Shifts (7am to 7am):
    • 11/27 - 11/29, ending 11/30 at 0700
    • 12/19 - 12/22, ending 12/23 at 0700
  • Call Only for duration of assignment
  • Beeper call; 20-minute call response time required
  • Phone Consults: 0-5 per shift
  • Patients Seen: 1-2 per shift
  • Admissions: 0-1 per shift
• Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; ASC Verified Level III Trauma Facility
• Types of Cases:
  • Fractures, sports, general orthopaedics
  • Total Joint Replacement (Hip, Knee, Other)
  • Joint Revision or Repair (Shoulder, Hip, Knee)
  • Arthroscopy
  • No Spine cases
  • Efficient, flexible OR with block time assignments
  • Orthopaedic PAs and full surgical staff on site
  • Completely digital radiology department
  • General Surgeons manage the wound care clinic
• EMR System: MediTech
• Credentialing: Estimated 30 days; temporary privileges available

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required; must hold active board certification with the ABOS. NBPAS Board Certification is not accepted.
• Certifications: Active MI CDS and MI DEA required
• Licensure: Active Michigan, will consider IMLC
