Description



  • Hospital-based cardiology nurse practitioner or physician assistant




  • Inpatient rounding team with board-certified cardiologist supervision




  • Consults and inpatient follow-up care




  • Pre- and post-procedure care for interventional cardiology patients




  • Coordinate follow-up care and communicate with hospitalists and primary care providers




  • Training available for cardiac stress-test supervision




  • No acute STEMI emergency team coverage




  • No cath lab scrubbing




  • Three 10-hour weekday shifts




  • Rotating day coverage every fourth weekend




  • Massachusetts license, DEA certificate, and controlled-substances registration required




  • Cardiac diagnosis, procedure, and medication knowledge required




  • Cardiac catheterization patient experience preferred




  • eClinicalWorks and Epic experience required




  • Full APP benefits




  • Compensation based on experience, training, and confidence

  • About 20 minutes to Providence, 45 minutes to Boston, 30 minutes to Cape Cod and Newport
